Delete your account

You can delete your My Wiselings account at any time. This page explains how, and what happens to your data. My Wiselings is made by Brightnook Studio.

In the app (fastest)

Open My Wiselings and go to Settings (from the Today screen).
Tap Delete account.
Tap Delete to confirm.

Your account is deleted right away.

Without the app

If you no longer have the app, email privacy@brightnookstudio.com from the email address you use to sign in, with the subject “Delete my My Wiselings account”. If you signed in with Google, use that Google account’s email. We may ask you to confirm the request from that address. We’ll delete the account within 30 days, usually much sooner, and email you when it’s done.

What gets deleted

Your account: email address, account ID and sign-in details.
Everything in the app tied to it: your collection, favorites, streak, Missed-Day Passes, Legendary Keys, points, trivia history, rewards, app icon and theme choices, and invite information (your code and the friends who joined with it).

Copies in backups and server logs are removed within 30 days. Deletion can’t be undone: if you sign up again, you start with a new, empty collection.

What we keep

Google Play and RevenueCat (our subscription service) keep records of purchases under their own policies. We may keep limited purchase records where the law requires it, for example for tax.
If you emailed us, we keep that conversation as long as needed to answer you and show that we handled your request.

Subscriptions

Deleting your account doesn’t cancel a Plus subscription. Cancel it first in Google Play → your profile → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions → My Wiselings Plus → Cancel. Otherwise Google Play keeps charging you.
